The sunstroke toll in the two Telugu states increased to 15 with five more people succumbing to intense heat on Thursday. The victims included a primary school student. The India Meteorological Department has withdrawn the heat wave warning for Telangana though it said that the climate will continue to remain dry for the next two days. However, the heat wave conditions will prevail in parts of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. On Thursday, Nellore district reported two deaths, followed by one death each in Khammam, Nalgonda and Anantapur.
