With Climate Change, U.S. States Routinely Achieving New Levels of Extreme Warmth

In globe’s warmed climate today, U.S. states are setting new records for extreme warmth with regularity while record cold is almost impossible to come by. The huge disparity between record warmth and cold across the United States is the screaming message portrayed in a slide showing state climate records. Washington, D.C., is not included in Arndt’s slide, but the warm weather extremes recorded since 2010 are astonishing
