Heatwave continues across east coast, with Sydney taking most of the heat. Friday's temperature of 39 degrees would be one of warmest on record. But it is not just the east coast, the Top End was also feeling the scorch. In WA, bushfires near Esperance claimed the lives of at least four people. Temperatures in Adelaide also soared to 40 degrees on Wednesday.
