Hot, dry weather fuels northern Arizona wildfires

A heat wave is fueling wildfire activity in northern Arizona.
The U.S. Forest Service announced Saturday that the Bert fire on the Kaibab National Forest near Valle was showing a “substantial increase in activity.” The lightning-caused fire had reached to 3,852 acres by late Saturday morning and was only 1 percent contained
