Alaska easily saw its warmest spring on record with an average temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This shattered Alaska’s previous record set in 1998 by a full 2 degrees Fahrenheit...

It wasn’t wet everywhere though. Many states in the Northeast were drier than average this spring. Leading the pack was New York, which had its ninth driest spring on record
