At a Glance

Much of the Pacific Northwest has sweltered in a prolonged heat wave since late July.

This has set some all-time heat wave longevity records in a few locations.

A major pattern change is ahead the weekend of August 12-13.

This will bring much cooler temperatures, even the chance of rain in some areas.
