Statistics: Electricity Impacts of US Severe Storms and Floods April 2017

At least 105,350 outages have been linked to the storms, including:

  • 7,000 in Garland and Montgomery counties in Arkansas
  • 16,000 in Mississippi
  • 2,350 in the West Plains area in Missouri
  • 80,000 in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas in Oklahoma

In Tennessee, 14,000 people were also without power in the early afternoon on April 30, but it was not clear if all of those outages were due to severe weather.
