Tropical Cyclone Hudhud, a strengthening tempest over the Bay of Bengal, is on a collision course with India’s central east coast this weekend. Presently packing maximum sustained winds of around 70 mph, it is forecast to intensify to the equivalent of a category 3 hurricane by the time it makes landfall, which is forecast to occur on Sunday.
