CAL FIRE sees an increase in wildfire activity

In the last week CAL FIRE has seen a 10 percent jump in wildfire activity and they're not the only agency noticing, so is the U.S. Forest Service.
Since the start of the year to July 9, CAL FIRE has seen 2,627 wildfires burning 30,368 acres, a drop from 2015. During the same time frame last year the state saw 2,711 wildfires
