At least 1 foot of lake-effect snow in spots while new storm takes aim

Lake-effect snow continues to fall across parts of West Michigan, with areas south and west of the Grand Rapids metro area seeing the greatest impacts.
Snowfall accumulations Friday, Dec. 9, appear to max out around a foot in southeast Allegan County, according to the latest reports from the National Weather Service.
Other reports are as follows:
-Cooper: 12 inches
-Martin: 9.5
-Paw Paw: 9.5
-Fremont: 8
-Hesperia: 6.6
-Newaygo: 6
-Kalamazoo: 5.5
-Grand Rapids: 2.6
-Hudsonville: 2.5
-WZZM 13 in Walker picked up about 3.5 inches of snow.
