NorCal sees 3rd day of triple-digit temps

The Valley saw a third day of triple-digit temperatures Monday, marking the year's first heat wave.
A heat wave is categorized as three consecutive days of temperatures at or above 100 degrees.
The Sacramento hit 107 degrees, one degree shy of the record. Stockton hit 104 degrees while Modesto saw temperatures reach 106 degrees. In the foothills, Auburn peaked at 99 degrees.
Closer to the coast, Fairfield topped out at 97 degrees, and San Francisco hit 75 degrees.
The Valley and foothills climbed to temperatures in the 100s over the weekend.
