This data viewing tool from the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) offers nearly instant access to dozens of datasets around the Earth. Users select from atmosphere, ocean, land, cryosphere, and climate, and drill down from there into more detailed categories.

For each set of data selected, user can obtain background information, make screen captures, download the data, share the views, and change settings.
