Central Florida's record fall heat in line with warming Earth
United States
Most of Central Florida had its hottest November on record, and Orlando registered its second-highest average temperature for the month since the late 1800s. The National Weather Service in Melbourne also reported the fall season of September through November was the warmest for most of the area and second-warmest for Orlando. "We usually have one or two records set in a month," forecaster Matt Volkmer said in summarizing November's nearly 40 new marks. "It's pretty unusual to see so many records in a month."
