Parts of Texas became flooded Saturday as record rainfall soaked the area, deluging homes and vehicles.
"A stalled front along the southeast Texas coast has brought numerous heavy downpours to the area throughout Saturday," said weather.com meteorologist Brian Donegan. "While the heaviest rain comes to an end Saturday night, light to moderate rain is expected to continue into Sunday, potentially exacerbating flooding problems in Galveston County."
