Medford just concluded the hottest June on record. The National Weather Service reported the average high temperature for June 2015 was 91.3 degrees, nine degrees above the month's typical 82-degree average high temperature. That also beat the previous June high-temperature record of 91.1 degrees, set in 1918. The average temperature for the month — which factors in highs and lows — is also the new king at 74.8 degrees, beating out the previous record of 70.6. "Really the previous top 10 are only separated by a degree," meteorologist Michelle Cohen said. "That's a really big jump. That's quite the record."
