EEE 2012: The Extreme March-May 2012 Warm Anomaly Over the Eastern United States: Global Context and Multimodel Trend Analysis

Main findings:
The anthropogenic contribution to the extreme seasonal (MAM) warmth in 2012 over the eastern United States can be estimated as about 35%, or in terms of risk, anthropogenic forcing leads to a factor of 12 increase in the risk of such an event according to our calculations.
