Climate Change Means Wildfire Seasons May Continue: Professor

A Yale University professor looking back over the last 3,000 years at charcoal accumulations in lake bottoms and tree rings found that such warm temperatures and dry conditions as the West is experiencing typically produce more fires. And the warming effects of climate change will likely bring even more fires, Jennifer Marlon, an associate research scientist at the Yale told Insurance Journal.
