United States Has Been Struck By Five Category 4 or 5 Tropical Cyclones in 14 Months

United States

Five Category 4 or 5 tropical cyclones have made landfall in the U.S. since August 2017.

Three hurricane landfalls occurred in the Lower 48, including Harvey, Irma and Michael.

Super Typhoon Yutu and Hurricane Maria struck U.S. territories.
