As More Heat Records Broken, a Toasty Forecast Predicted for L.A. Marathon

Ater the winter heat wave set temperature records on Wednesday, February 10th, Southern California will see a slight cooling trend through February 14th, when temperatures will again rise in time for the L.A. Marathon. The temperature reached 85 degrees in Los Angeles on Wednesday, busting the record of 83 degrees, set on the date in 1988, according to the weather service. And in Camarillo, the temperature hit 89. The previous record of 86 was set last year.
